Sweet Sonoma Engagement Session
24th March
I had so much photographing this adorable couple this past weekend in Sonoma, CA. We started the photo shoot early in the morning to make use of  some pretty light at Crane Creek Open space. The park was a great place to photograph a outdoorsy couple like Jenn and Mike, who both love the rolling hills of California! Not to mention that Mike happens to work as a park ranger for State Parks of California! He was gracious enough to put on his uniform for some shots-and I could tell Jenn loves her man in uniform! Then we proceeded over to Sonoma State University, which is such a beautiful campus and has so many unique opportunities for both natural and structural backdrops. Jenn scouted that location out for me-and I loved it! Their little doggies were very good until we tied them up to a tree next to the lake and they unfortunately found some duck poop to roll in-Oh well-That’s a wrap!
Beautiful California Oak tree grove family portraits
12th November
I love the Californian environment! Oak trees and grassy hills are just gorgeous anytime of year, so I am glad I photographed the Fulmer family in such a classic Cali setting. The Fulmer family have been in California for about two years, moving from and equally beautiful state, Colorado. We had fun tromping around in the dry grass and finding cool trees to pose in front of! The kids were great and enjoyed the bubbles I blew to keep spirits high. I have to say, this family has some stunning sparkly blue eyes!
The Howze family at China Camp
3rd November
I had a blast photographing the Howze Family at China Camp in San Rafeal for my first mini session family portrait day! The light could not have been more perfect and there were such great options for posing the family in different spots around the park. Little Katherine was so cute and such a sweetheart! She carried around her little polka dot purse and gave her mommy the best hugs during the photo shoot. I loved her hairstyle-perfect throwback to the 70′s! Thanks Howze family for making the photo shoot so fun and easy!
The Brodt Family Portrait at China Camp
3rd November
I had so much fun photographing families at China Camp in San Rafael, CA! What an awesome location with tons of options for backgrounds with natural environment as well as interesting structures with fun colors and textures. The Brodt family and I go way back (I photographed Jake and Jill’s gorgeous wedding!) and now that their family has grown with the addition of couple of adorable and fun loving little girls, I was stoked to work with them again! We had so much fun and I loved the challenge of keeping those active bundle of joys interested and engaged! Marie was full of kisses for her mommy and Ruby was full of funny faces! I think they both enjoyed being tossed in the air by their daddy and hey it was all worth it in the end-cause ice cream was promised and delivered!
One year old redhead with the cutest smile
3rd November
Redheads are adorable, and if you add in some dimples, you just can’t get any cuter! Baby Jules will be turning one this month, so he was desperately in need of some portraits to capture his baby self, before he becomes a full fledged toddler. The Wilson Family was signed up to do the family portrait session down at China Camp, but first I headed to their home to get some shots of Jules in his element! Julian was in a great mood when I arrived which is always awesome and we had fun hanging in his room for a few before mom got him dressed to go outside and play!
Brad and Bessie’s Oahu, Hawaii destination wedding
15th March
This was my first destination wedding and it was so much fun photographing in an exotic location. I love Hawaii and it has such a laid back atmosphere and this location was such the perfect choice for my friends, Brad and Bessie’s wedding!
